Ron's Profile:
Ron
DeLuca has been a
principal owner in the Design/Build Industry for 27
years.
A
carpenter by trade, Ron is a graduate of Temple University and received
his Master’s in Applied Project Management Certificate from Villanova
University. He is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP),
according to the guidelines of the American National Standards Institute
(ANSI), the official United States Government representative to the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
A member of the
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), since 1986, Ron was
elected President of the Chester/Delaware Counties, Home Builders
Association in Pennsylvania, Chairperson of the Remodelers Council and
has served on the Board of Directors on both the State and National
levels. Currently, he holds the position of Director Emeritus for the
Association. Ron is an accredited Green Verifier for the National
Association of Home Builders Research Center and an Expert Witness for
the TASA Group.
An Instructor for the NAHB, teaching in several
states, Ron is also an approved instructor for the Pennsylvania State
Real Estate Commission and the Pennsylvania Board of Certified State
Appraisers. Currently, he is Director of Training for DVC-Project
Management Institute, reviewing University Instructors for curriculum
and delivery of the Project Management Standards.
Ron received numerous
accolades in the Construction Industry. His work was showcased as the
front cover story for Builder Architect Magazine and he was recognized
by the Better Homes and Gardens Magazine as one of the Best Builders in
America. He has been a featured guest on radio and television, including
the Discovery Channel, WPEN’s “Jay Lamont Talking about Real Estate”,
WPHT and WWDB radio stations.
A life-long resident of the Philadelphia area,
Ron has been married to his wife Sheila for thirty-two years and they
are the proud parents of four children.
